Fire Safety & Awareness Training (Levels 1 & 2)

Comprehensive bespoke Fire Safety & Awareness Training, and Refresher Training within your own premises.

                1 to 15 persons £250

Course length approximately 2.5 hours (includes a 15 minute interval)

This jargon free and high impact training is unlike any other fire safety training that is designed to be informative, interactive and enjoyable. 

Staff at all levels need to know what to do in the event of a fire and to put that knowledge in to practice.

There is now a requirement that all staff receive bespoke/appropriate Fire Safety Training based on their own place of work.

Our Fire Awareness Course provides staff with a clear understanding of employer and employee responsibilities to eliminate and/or reduce the risk of fire in the workplace as stated under Fire Safety Regulations Act 2005 and enabling staff awareness to:

* The key steps of a Fire Risk Assessment.

* Procedures to follow in the event of a fire.

* Fire Marshall rolls and resposibilities.

* Identification and use of Fire Extinguishers. 

* Evacuation and Assembly.

* How fires are caused.

* Identifying and reducing risks.

* Preventing the spead of fire.

* Fire Science.

* Meeting legal guidelines and legislation.

* A  guide booklet is provided for the cource. 

* Free 25page informative fire safety booklet     provided to all attendees. 

75-90 minute interactive, informative and thought provoking powerpoint display with questions and answers posed throughout.

2 x 15 minute video's providing advice for management and staff in practical fire prevention and planning with real life fire coverage.

2 x short presentations providing visual advice on escape routes and evacuation procedures.

Hands on practical advice on the use of Fire Extinguishers (Fire Extinguisher Training can be provided separately on request).

Delegates are encouraged to ask questions with regards to their own care premises and general fire safety throughout the course.

To round things off a 25 question test/examination based upon the course (with literature provided) is completed with certification of attendance and pass provided in Level 1 Fire Awareness Training (a pass mark of 75% is advised). 

This course has proved to be very popular and highly recommended by Hospitality and Care providers.

Training can be provided at our own training venues if desired in Whitchurch, Ellesmere, Market Drayton, Shrewsbury, Wrexham, Manchester & Liverpool (with light refreshments included) at an additional cost of £150.
